Charleston’s upper peninsula has quietly become one of the South’s most walkable craft beer destinations. A cluster of five remaining taprooms sits within a 2.5-mile stretch - and on Saturdays from 3 to 7 PM, a free community-run trolley connects them all. The district has changed significantly since 2024, but what’s left is leaner, more focused, and well worth a Saturday afternoon.

Getting There
Parking is generally easier than downtown. Edmund’s Oast has a large dedicated lot. Street parking is free after 6 PM and Sundays. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) run $5 to $10 within the peninsula. Rental bikes ~$7/hr from The Bicycle Shoppe.
