There are three ways to do a Charleston brewery tour: ride the free community trolley that loops the upper peninsula every Saturday, book a guided tour with a local operator, or build your own route through one of the city's brewery neighborhoods. Here's how each one works.
The free Saturday trolley
The upper peninsula brewery district runs a free community trolley between its taprooms every Saturday afternoon, with no booking and no ticket. It's the cheapest brewery tour in Charleston.
Guided brewery tours
