Live Music at Charleston Breweries
76 events
Live music at Charleston's breweries is an early-evening scene rather than a late-night one. Most sets start between 5pm and 7pm and are done by closing, which makes a brewery gig something you can build a whole evening around rather than the last stop of one.
Commonhouse Aleworks in Park Circle books the most, almost always on Friday evenings. Both Revelry locations, the downtown taproom and the Folly Beach outpost, run Saturday afternoons from around 5pm. New Realm splits its music across Wednesday and Friday, Two Blokes takes Friday early evening, and LO-Fi picks up the occasional Saturday night.
Everything here is a real scheduled set pulled from the breweries' own listings: singer-songwriters, full bands, DJs and the occasional bluegrass or Americana night. If you want the venues rather than the schedule, the guide to which Charleston breweries host live music covers who has a stage, a patio or a regular residency.
Please join us for a very special evening with Grady Spencer & The Vegabonds!
Charleston-based Stefanie Potter is an uplifting “artist of the heart” who writes therapeutic and socially conscious music. Stefanie’s music includes family-friendly catchy originals and popular uplifting covers in a range of genres to fit the vibe. Mostly soulful rock—like a dynamic combination of Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Hayley Williams, and Alanis Morissette. Her performances—whether solo, duo, or full band—strike a balance between meaningful depth, spunky determination, and quirky fun. Stefanie was voted Female Singer-Songwriter of the Year for the 2026 City Paper Music Awards, and was awarded at the Charleston Songwriters Showcase and Awards in July. With over 100 original songs, Stefanie has performed at several original music festivals, received an invitation for a Nashville-based artist development gathering, opened for an internationally touring comedian, and was selected out of over 2000 applicants to perform at the Cooper River Bridge Run for three years. Her music has been shared on OHM Radio Charleston, the award-winning “Women of Substance” podcast, various independent radio stations, playlists, magazines, blog features, and news sources. She has released 3 EPs as an independent artist, with the most recent being completely self-produced.
