Tideland Brewing

Tideland Brewing is a Lowcountry-themed brewery and full-service restaurant on Dorchester Road in North Charleston, opened in 2021. The space is built around beer and food in equal measure, with 25 taps pouring inside across styles that run from pilsners and IPAs to sours, plus a kitchen that turns out elevated pub fare.

The taproom anchors a large indoor space, but the signature feature is the large beer garden out back, shaded by a sprawling live oak and served by its own bar of 12 additional outdoor taps. You'll find cornhole and disc golf, fire pits, and plenty of parking, with leashed dogs welcome in the outdoor areas.

The food program is a genuine draw rather than an afterthought. Expect smash burgers, wings, pulled pork, and other from-scratch plates, with a weekend brunch service rounding out the week. It's a family-friendly setup with a kids' menu, making it an easy stop for groups with mixed ages.

Tideland leans into community programming to keep regulars coming back, hosting weekly Music Bingo along with recurring events like Hops and Horsepower drive-ins and dog-group meetups. Sitting in an industrial pocket just off both interstates, it's centrally located yet feels tucked away, which is part of its appeal as a relaxed North Charleston destination for craft beer and a full meal in one place.
