Snafu Brewing Company

Snafu Brewing Company is North Charleston's go-to specialist for sour beer, pouring more than a dozen sours on tap at any given time, from bright fruited tarts to more complex, layered styles. Located on Industry Drive off the Dorchester Road corridor, it has built a strong local following and was named a Best of Charleston winner in 2025.

The brewery is the work of career brewer Scott Koon, known locally as "Skoon," who developed his craft at other Charleston-area breweries before launching his own project focused on eccentric, ever-changing fruited sours. That deep brewing background shows in the range and quality of a tap list that rarely looks the same twice.

Food comes from Snafu's own truck slinging South Philly-style cheesesteaks, supplemented by rotating guest food trucks parked on-site.
