Frothy Beard Brewing Company

Frothy Beard Brewing Company is a West Ashley fixture founded in 2013 by three friends who share a love of creativity, sci-fi, and craft beer. It was one of the earliest breweries to open in the area, and it has grown into one of the most familiar names in Charleston's craft scene.

The taproom on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard pours 20 to 32 rotating taps, so you'll find a wide range of styles on any given visit rather than a fixed core lineup. A full pub kitchen runs alongside the bar, turning out pizzas, burgers, wings, salads, and nachos, which makes it an easy choice for a full meal rather than just a pint.

The space is family-friendly and roomy, and the brewery hosts regular community events for local beer fans. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio, and outdoor seating gives you somewhere to settle in when the weather cooperates.
